They're absolutely incredible. I could spend years there and never get bored. I'll definitely return once they manage to reopen the road past the landslide, if not sooner.

I miss Denali. Didn’t get to stay too long but the first time seeing those mountains I was in awe.

I shot this panorama when visiting Denali National Park in early September. It had been raining on and off all day, but the light was starting to break through the clouds by late afternoon. I had just had an incredible encounter with a herd of caribou (photo here) when I saw the sunlight hitting the mountains in the distance.
I grabbed my Canon R5, switched to my RF 70-200mm f/4, and fired off this panorama. I zoomed to 200mm, and set my exposure to f/8, 1/100s (props to my image stabilization!), and ISO 100. Each frame was shot vertically.
When I got home, I stitched the images in Lightroom Classic. The resulting panorama is over 20,000 pixels on the long edge, making for a nearly 140 megapixel image.

You should move it to first place.

I knew next to nothing about Slovenia before I watched the last two Tours de France. Two of the top riders are from Slovenia and I had a chance to learn about them and their country. As the photo shows, they have spectacular mountains. Now Slovenia is on my list of places to travel to.

Palawan had some of the cleanest ocean water, I couldn’t stay out of it! I even shampood and soaped up in my beachside hotel room and went to the ocean to rinse. Then my favorite bar had a mimosa ready for me when I arrived! That was a hell of a vacation!

Coron and Palawan are 2 different islands. Is Coron in Palawan province or something?

The Julian Alps are actually hugely popular with hikers & climbers. Thousands of people hike & climb here on any given day during the summer.

Unedited Palawan pics are way better to see than photoshopped or color graded. The beauty of Palawan is best seen in natural color. Better yet, see it in person. Been there and its paradise. Barracuda lake Coron
