No problem. Feel free to ask me anything. And yes, most of the times photo don't do justice to the real scenery.

If you hike, hike Patagonia. A month isn't enough

Nice thank you! And even then I bet the photo is nothing compared to the majesty of being there in person.

Well it's case by case. Like this shot it's very close to the mountains so I used 24mm and the mountains aren't super small. Some people do focal length blending, shot the mountains bigger and composite it with wider foreground shot.

Any tips on taking landscape photography such that distant prominences like mountains don’t seem tiny? Like those mountains absolutely dominate the photo. When I take photos of mountains I struggle to have the hugeness come through.

Dear Redditors, how do you like a warm sunrise in Patagonia? I visited Torres del Paine National Park in Chile earlier this year but only got to process this shot a few days ago. To show the summer vibe, I chose yellow flowers as the foreground. I hope you like it!
BTW if you want to see more of my photos, you can visit my Instagram for more. Much appreciated.

Random photographers shouldn't walk past 3 signs saying it is illegal to use a trail then post pictures at the bottom of said condemned trail. That encourages others to copy their behavior, and has real consequences.

When I was there in September there were so many people on the wooden overlook that you walk to that you could barely get a good photo. It was probably only a km hike or so.

This was late October, which was a bit early for some of the fall colors lower down, so I would say early November would work.
