This shot was handheld over the edge of a wall. There would have been room to go over the wall and shoot from below, which I might try next time. I don't think it's quite as dangerous as it looks.

Edit: I don't condone passing boundaries. As hankismoody pointed out, those are there for a reason.

Just curious because your review was based on local families and way of life. So you don’t like the culture. Lots of destinations have people trying to sell things. Every country I’ve been to. Weird things to gripe about but you praise the food… which is another reason people choose particular destinations. Sounds like typical Yelp reviews

That's one of my favorite places in the world! Since my husband and I found it decades ago, the cliff overlook has receded at least 50 yards and I can stand at the railing and see the levels below where we used to stand.

I'm so happy you took this. I got over to Crescent City last week, but didn't get that far south. That's for later this month. 😎
