You know what's fun is the "Garden of the Gods". There's a Garden of the Gods in Colorado, and a different one in I think Kansas or someplace, and there's probably several others.

Just read a novel in which this exact place was featured: Demon Copperhead, by Barbara Kingsolver.

I traveled 6 hours to see this and it took 2½ hours to hike, so I definitely had to jump in. Don't let the appearance fool you, it's about 12 foot deep.

Its really more sad than silly. Can you imagine taking your kids to your culture's sacred site to pray, and then they ask you why its called "Devil's lake" in english, but "Sacred lake" in their language?
