The tree trunks crossing each other is as if the trees are guarding what's beyond the river.

I have absolutely no idea. It just happened to call to me as looking really neat and needed it's picture taken.

Thanks! I'm not really sure exactly what possessed me to take it. I'm usually more of a landscape guy. Take lots of vehicle pics too. For some reason though I had gotten off the motorcycle and decided to take a nature walk down a trail, and that little shroom just called to me. I took some excellent photos throughout that trip, but this mushroom continues to stick out in my brain as one of my favorites.
