I went a few months ago and was amazed to say the least.

However, on the way there I broke the glass over the camera on my phone and was slightly distracted when we got there. I'm going to have a redo one day. Our entire vacation was stunning.

You can google this and Wanaka is up there but the fiordlands and milford sound, Queenstown and the surroundings, lake tekapo, mount cook, even castle hill comes to mind. The south island has a lot to explore, Marlborough region, abel Tasman national park, stewart island, the South Island has so many places to see
