They probably think that they’ll only be a different person after they reach their destination from all their changes instead of just a simple mentality switch equaling a different person.

Except the title is literally make it count. That is a very convenient way to define it back tracking but I think we both know the intended meaning.

It's a lot about perception
It's not untrue
What u think is true vs what actually is true

The sapling isn't even a sapling. Saplings don't have hundreds of branches and tiny leaves, they have normal sized leaves on a few branches.

So all I have to do is actually enjoy life? Well better tell the rich they're not participating correctly, because nothing is fun about being poor.

Good for him. Always better yourself for you. Ups and downs will always happen. Picking yourself up and making yourself better is a great accomplishment.

Ahhh yes, "Rhonda Byrnes", the number one scammer of all time. The irony of it is that was her "Secret" the entire time lol

This is absolutely amazing work. At first I thought it was a photograph with heavy filters applied. But no; It’s a painting!?! Awesome job! You’re super talented, OP; thanks for sharing your beautiful art with us!

That advise is what got Russell Crow thru his first Gladiator fight

It's fantastically toxic. Tell this to a kid whose parents are getting a divorce or someone who just lost a loved one.

Hell yes. Fear is the mind killer.
John Wayne once said, “courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway.”
I once told a group of Marines, “Any one of you that isn’t afraid is a liar or an idiot, and neither one belongs in my platoon.”
Fear is completely natural, especially when you’re making such a huge lifestyle change. You’re not talking about a simple change either, you’re talking about leaving your entire life behind and starting a new one. That’s something to be terrified of! But you know what? You can do it. It will be hard, sure. Nothing in life worth having is easy. And unfortunately there is no cure for fear. But no one is going to hand you your dreams. You have to go out and fight for it. Something I tell myself every day when I wake up miserable and in pain, “There’s nothing to it but to do it.” This applies well to dealing with fear. It’s my own version of “saddling up anyway”.

We become a different person with small habit changes, not by setting a date when it will happen all at once.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I’m assuming this was precluded with “making a lot of life changes.” Or something else that doesn’t leave the reader wondering if this is just a platitude or perhaps they’re subtly leading the reader on to a more nefarious plan.
