Yeah, sorry about that - I'm working on a seperate section for conflicts and wars, particulary domestic ones. The Iranian protests will be in there instead.
At the moment I'm using various news agencies like Reuters, AP etc and also collating info from Wikipedia. I hope to add more sources soon.

I think it's really cool OP. Great Job. Definitely going to keep one busy.

I went through the entire January and nothing was highlighted in Iran even though protests for human rights and democracy are happening daily...
Also, quick question. What sources do you use to feed the data into the map?

Oh, you’re the developer. Congrats on a cool concept. To save labor, maybe could piggyback on something like Google News - World? I’ve bookmarked, so I hope you maintain it. 👍

Bruh, what a cheap knockoff of SlidesAI.io The format and even the example presentations are also the same lol
Here's the Internet Is Beautiful Post
Edit - Even if you're inspired by them at least be different in some aspects, don't just copy paste their format and examples.

Cool, thanks. I often build for desktop size first, then optimize for mobile, so I get it.
I avoid the depressing world news most of the time so it looks really handy to catch up.

Oh yeah, didn't give much thought to mobile. Sorry, I'll work on the UI for it too.

fix that map of Georgia, dude

Looks really useful. I just wish the vertical sidebar wasn’t there on mobile, hides ⅓ of the map. Maybe horizontal across the top like most apps?

This is great! I've always been wondering why something like this isn't already there but don't have any programming knowledge to build one myself. Will be bookmarking this and see how it grows.

Thanks! for now I'm watching a few news channels and adding them depending on my own critera, but I'm going to add an option for people to nominate their own events. I'm also going to add a seperate section for wars and conflicts, in case you're wondering why there's no Ukraine news.

Love the idea. Will help sharpen my geography. Curious about what makes an event newsworthy.

I apologize for the oversight - I added credit to all accounts but it increased the spending so much, that I had to revert it after 6 hours. Instead, I've added a demo video for it. Please DM me with your email so I’ll be happy to add one credit to your account

Yep, definitely agree with that.
I really like the simple revenue model but any cost greater than zero is a barrier for something that's a complete shot in the dark

No idea if this could ever do this, but I have aways thought it would be fascinating to graph global conflict over the course of human history using some metric. I'd be fascinated to know if humanity is more or less violent today than it was in, say, the 1500s AD or 1500 BC by any metric. Maybe lives lost per capita attributed to war? Or people per capita involved in a national conflict?
