Most grocery stores have a hot and prepared food section. You can often get thinks like sandwiches, pizza, wings, salads, sushi, and more. Plus you have a whole store of snacks and drinks to choose from. Some even have sitting areas. They are often the same price or cheaper than fast food, and have some healthier options, plus are quick.
Edit: gRoCeRy sTOrEs HaVe fOoD? I get it, yes they have food, everyone knows it, but I didn’t want to make the title super long. However, my point is, I think that everyone forgets about them when they’re actually hungry, or don’t want to cook. I went to Chipotle the other day, for a bowl and a drink was $13. A sandwich at my local grocery store is $6, and a drink is $2. It all adds up, saving $5 a week is $260 a year, and that’s just one meal. And not everyone has time/wants to cook, and delivery apps are getting expensive. Not saying live your life on grocery store rotisserie chicken or premade salads, but it’s a nice alternative sometimes.
So my advice is to on your way home, or as you’re going about, pop in a grocery store, buy a premade item, and you’re good to go. You don’t have to cook, worry about delivery fees or paying tip at a restaurant, hell don’t even need a microwave. Can eat in your car, as you’re walking, etc.
