Cut one in half and stick it on the top of a door to prevent kids, dogs, or wind from accidentally closing it

Well obviously you don’t paint it, I can tell you that much.

For dog owners, pool noodles are a handy substitute for those giant collars that keep the pet from licking a recent surgery. Just cut in a couple sections, put a string thru and voila, you just saved a bunch of money.

I would bet money that most of the people commenting here are American, and are therefore totally accustomed to the Chinese way of cooking rice. Source: am American, usually cook rice that way.

I second this! I find cooking soothing and meditative.

Given that it is indeed battery powered, grip the outside and spin CCW, usually a 9v battery. Some can be on ac, of which I had 15 some, I just get a pro in on that situation

Usually you just unscrew the alarm and there is a compartment for the battery. Try twisting the smoke detector/fire alarm and pulling it off.

This actually sounds like a breath mint/gum tip, not a water tip.

Visit a few dentists and get a few ideas and quotes. It will be a good investment.

Interesting how you interpret someone suggesting you accept water when you’re inebriated/dehydrated/etc. as “drink water”. Often in those situations, folks don’t have all their faculties.
