I have two cousins that studied acting (or performance arts, as in theatres). I've always found it hard to imagine how they would survive adulthood with a degree in acting.

Turns out one of them created a small business that does plays for kids at birthdays, and the other one, who is also a musician, is now teaching music and acting at a couple of schools. I'm very proud of them because even though young adults are pushed towards engineering, medicine, economics, etc. they stuck to what they love and they found a way to make it work. They are not rich, but they are independent and do what they love.

I mean I'd say follow your dreams, but I understand your concerns. If you're thinking about this at your age, I'm tempted to think you don't like to improvise in real life. I cannot tell you what to do, but just want to say that whatever you choose, you're allowed to fail, as we all are. It's just a matter of standing up and trying again. IMO that's a big part of adulthood.

I didn’t have anything in mine because it was linked to my PayPal (which I guess they didn’t have access to) But they logged in and out 5 times over a few days from two different locations in China.

I’m just annoyed with steam for being so shady about 2FA. Also why would anyone go into my account, change the language to Thai and the username to something in Chinese?

Quinine is what makes tonic water work. Unfortunately some less reputable brands advertise as tonic water but don’t have quinine (idk how tho).

Worse, some are club soda with tons of salt and carbonation. The salt can help but carbonation is typically bad as it can lower your pH. After exercise your body has likely produces lactic acid and the carbonation can make it take longer to clear the acid.

Regular tonic water though will work fine and is relatively safe, and cool under a UV light.

I thought of this too, but then again why would I waste 10 of my best years just to work something for like another 5? I'm guessing that if I become one I'll stick to it for at least 10 years to really make some capital on my name and might graduate some college to become a teacher for greater pension, while also being here when my future children are starting to really grow and reqire a lot more of my time.

A few disorganized thoughts after reading your post...

  1. I don't think ship captain is the right path for you
  2. I think you'd make a great therapist
  3. I think you should consider pursuing writing as well. The bit above is a bit of a brain dump so it's hard to say for sure, but my gut tells me you have a lot to say and if you can find a way to refine it, it would be really interesting to read

You've got your life ahead of you, and you're asking the right questions. If I were a betting man, I'd bet on you doing something amazing with your life.

Same, my steam was hacked. I wasn’t phished because I’ve never put my steam acct or pass into browser and I don’t have any malware. My steam pass was unique to steam and they got in despite me having 2FA.

Steam support said it is possible to get in without 2FA but they would have to have my password and login. I also have a notification on my iPhone saying that password was in a data breach but Steam denied a breach and said I must have used the password somewhere else.

They didn’t even change my password, only user name and language which is how I noticed because my steam sale emails started coming in Thai.

OMG! I have been trying to figure out how that perfectly separated rice is made for soooooooo long. No matter what type of rice I try it’s just the same sticky mushy thing in the end. And every person I ask just suggests trying a different type of rice. 🙄 And really… as an adult you can’t really ask how to make rice that many times without being judged 😅

Is there a name for the technique? Does it have to be long grain rice or can it be generic or jasmine? How much water and how long do you usually boil it for? And do you put anything else in the water?

Tell me your secrets to non-mushy rice!!!
