No, we’re shittting on OP because they’re acting like there’s only their type of rice, exactly like everyone else. If you do what OP is suggesting with short-grain rice, you’ll be left with absolutely terrible rice. But if you cook long-grain rice cultivated to be fluffy like short-grained rice, you, too, will end up with sadness.

No idea why someone would boil the rice and drain it. I have always put the right amount of water and let it steam. Simply open the lid after and its beautiful rice everytime.

Literally steam it out. Take a warm bath, as hot as you can stand it without harm. Add Epson salt. The salt will detox ur body and the steam will losen things up. Make sure you hydrate!

Steam. Fill a big bowl with hot hot water and hold your head over it covered by a towel to hold in the steam. Don’t burn yourself but try to breathe in some hot steam and let it swirl around your head and sinuses a bit. Should help break it up enough to cough out. Good luck

Reply to LPT: You’re about to overdo it working out - happy New Year- , when you do don’t just lie around the next day. Get up and move. Your muscles will be sore, but they will be a lot worse and last longer if you just lie around. by 31engine
Sleep and rest are JUST as important for health and working out, this is bad advice... if your soreness is painful the next it is most likely a nutrition deficiency.

Oops forgot to say I'm on zoloft/sertraline and it clashes with decongestant medication. Sucks because I have a whole bottle of it in the cupboard still 😟

Yep! Similar to slow blinking for cats, dogs use yawns and sneezes to communicate that they’re friendly/want to play. She’s probably waiting on you to start acting like a maniac so she too can act like a maniac.

Neti pot or squeeze bottle sinus irrigator (sold at pharmacy). Eliminates snot at the source. Also very soothing. Use warm water with some salt. Most neti pots and irrigators come with packets of salt.

My ex boyfriend is from Iran. Gorgeous cuisine. My favorite was a stew he would make from like… a concentrate his mother would make and send him that was very green and citrusy. He would just add meat and rice.

You can just rinse the rice a few times before using a rice cooker. Gets the same results.

Yah had a 92 series Detroit tied to 500kw Kohler gen. head. That took care of that. I've had crappy experience with simplex and would recommend everyone stay away. But yes I installed ups on all critical plc's and computers. I also reprogrammed the Kohler main frame to run gen power for 30 minutes, mainly because of osprey building nests and cutting out my 3 phase power and blowing fuses - not fun. That's a call to fish and game and my power company

Prevent door dings. If you have a small garage, hang one on each wall to prevent your car door from hitting the garage door and/or hang one in the middle of your garage to separate your two garaged cars and to prevent door dings from one car to another when opening the doors.

Acting is a great skill to have. Most careers are based on you “acting” like you are that person. Experience is all you lack. Research thoroughly, get basic level jobs in fields of interest. Don’t think you will be stuck in that job. You can change anytime.

How old is it? Some of the newer ones you don't replace the battery. They just have batteries meant to last the life of the detector (10 years.)
