I absolutely love my cats and can't stand to think of them dying - But I can't stand the thought of them suffering even more.
If your cat is in constant terror and needs to be consoled frequently, she's suffering. And at 17 (and with other physical symptoms suggesting she may not be in the best of health), it's not like she has all that long left anyway.
You should probably talk with your vet about whether or not it might be time to send her over the rainbow bridge. If the vet says no way, she's fine, hey, forget I said anything! But don't make her suffer just because you can't bear to let her go, you'll regret that more than the alternative.

We rescued a kitten. When we first found him, he had a respiratory infection. So much sneezing. So the dog was all curious and wanting to play! I think it helped them start out on the right foot.
Now the cat always wants to play and never sneezes, so the dog's trying to adjust to that.

We’ve tried CBD oil but it doesn’t seem to have any impact

Sounds like a good idea, if it doesn't start a fight.

I haven't tried them myself or for any of my pets but I think pet CBD treats may address the anxiety and nausea. I think its worth looking into, at the very least.

I usually save it to pepper between mid december and after new years to get a full 21 days off, airbnb my apartment, and fuck off to a tropical island with my buddies.
Hasn't failed me in the slightest thus far.

Take Mucinex. It breaks up the sticky mucus. Also, after 10 minutes in a hot shower, bend down so your torso is horizontal and cough it out.

The "system" is just whatever policy the company has in place, obviously most companies want the employees to use up their leave every year as otherwise it could mean many staff looking for months or more off together. My own company will only allow 35 hours to be carried over but that policy only came in in 2000 and I member of staff who started on the old policy currently has 1600 hours carried over

This has been go to since I got my corporate job. I always work the week of Xmas and New Years. My co workers are all out, no meetings, and can't get a ton done. Even better since I started working from home. Bonus is that on the off chance something breaks, you look good for being around to take care of it (I work in IT)

Thanks for giving this a go! :) Adding dash of oil when you’re boiling the rice is helpful to keeping the grains separated when it’s done.

Hmmm. Does the vet you use approve of any mental health meds. Some pets need things like prozac and other antidepressants. Something along those lines may be the better route. Though, like in humans, it does take a while to show its effect.
