My elderly cat started howling (more than normal) late and night and was getting lost and going missing.

The vet recommended these tablets that really helped. They’re called Aktivait and they’re pretty much just vitamin tablets but they are made for those with cognitive decline.

Yes, this is great advice as both a driver and a pedestrian.

I never have an issue at zebra crossings as I am predictable, I make sure I've been seen, and I approach a crossing clearly. I've seen too many pedestrians walking along the path and go to cross without looking, or making it at all clear they're about to cross.

This is the recipe I used: https://www.unicornsinthekitchen.com/khoresht-fesenjan-persian-pomegranate-and-walnut-stew/

I've used this page for a few other dishes and it's all turned out great. But if you make one of the dishes with dried limes ( like the ghormeh sabzi or khoresh badejan), in my opinion it should simmer for a few hours (like 3 ish) and is definitely better the second day. I also simmered the fesenjan in the crockpot last time but it's less necessary.

I don't eat meat so I sub roasted mushrooms instead and it works! Another Iranian friend told me it's not uncommon to make meatless versions. What's great about these dishes is that the flavor profile really comes from the other ingredients so it makes the yummiest plant-based meals I've ever had.

My old boy has dementia at about 18. He would yowl and call out for help on and off chairs etc. He did get a tad incontinent, though mostly associated with a scare (thunder storms etc). We regularly checked with the vet to ensure he wasn’t suffering. Outside of that, there wasn’t much more that could be done. If you have some heat packs and a jumper you’ve worn for a few days, it can help during times your away

My twenty year old cat was doing the same thing as you described to a tee and figured she had mild dementia, she stopped once I got another cat although my other cat was terrible with her, tackling her and trying to mount because he's a young male. I had to put her down about a month ago because her health just kept declining. I would absolutely recommend what you plan which is to put your cat down but within the comfort of your home. One of my biggest regrets aside from getting another cat while my little old lady was still kicking was having to bring her to the vet when that time came. I wish I could have avoided the stress I'm sure she felt, also had to wait a while despite coming early for the appointment which prolonged it and had me crying with her in the waiting area. It sucked.

I agree with this completely. If your libido is down, take a hard look at your primary needs and make sure those are getting filled, and also examine any sources of stress in your life as stress can have a similar effect to repress libido.

People are made for walking. It is very stupid sitting all the time. Now you have opportunity to add some physical activity to your day 😏 People gain weight during Christmas because they eating too much, above their caloric needs. And this caloric need depends on how much we move.

Libido changes from person to person no matter how healthy they are. This is not really a good indicator as there are way too many factors that affect libido (such as having a partner, being relaxed, being happy, work, kids, stress...)
