I would also highly recommend making sure you have at the bare minimum a reflective blanket in your glove box in case you break down as well as warm gloves. There's definitely more you could/should have prepared for winter driving, but the blanket can save your life!

Pack a priority box. Fill it with essentials like your basic kitchen utensils so you can cook for a couple of days. Clothes for a few days in a bag/box. Bed linen so you can make your bed as soon as you get there. This will allow you to essentially start living without having to worry about where you've packed things since you have your essentials.

As you pack each room, label the box with the room and a basic description of what's inside it.

This is what I do. I've moved 11 times in the last 18 years.

Spend time looking at a map. Familiarize yourself with landmarks - bodies of water, mountains, large buildings, major roads. Figure out the approximate direction of major roads., Orientation of buildings or parks. Pay attention to which way is north.

Comment about the sun is really good too.

Go without a map, and follow your sense of direction. Only pull up the map if you get lost. This will teach you to think more on your own, instead of following what the map says.

Previously paywall was handled with javascript that blocked viewing page. Now there is also server side blocking (even if you bypass javascript you will still on see summary of news, not full news). That one is impossible to bypass because server served your client(pc browser) only part of the blog.

Make sure to separately pack the things you need on Day 1. Toiletries, a change of clothes, bath towels, hand soap, dish soap, etc. Also things like toilet plungers and fire extinguishers, since you definitely don't want to be without one.

Consider what you might need to buy new, or what is worth replacing instead of moving. For example, some cheap furniture might be worth replacing, since it probably needs to be disassembled and reassembled anyway, and it'll be the difference between a smaller truck and a bigger one. (Plus the cost of labor to move it, if applicable).

There's an antiperspirant that "burns" your glands or something of the sort and you stop from sweating ever again.

I used one called "wetfree" for something like 5 days about 7 years ago and it was a game changer, I ain't having sweat marks in my shirts when doing sports since then.

Haven't had any related issue, but gotta admit that those days that I used it, you feel a burn that can be difficult to tolerate for some.
