No, it’s also not a lubricant. It’s a soap aka surfactant.
How about lithium grease, machine oil, or teflon dry lubricant.
Seriously WD40 is great for getting rusty things freed up, but it’s not a good lubricant for long term work.

I am right with ya, but also remember some people don't have the money to prepare. Or don't know how. This type of post at least might give some folks ideas.

Only for a short while. Any regular lubricant is going to do a much better job.

Then why are there homeless people?
Serious question

So you're telling me you don't have a pencil laying around?

That is wrong on so many levels. Dish soap is not what you use to fix a squeaky door.
Use the right tool for the right job. For this, you should be using Graphite.

Agreed.
And the thin mint knock-offs at Walmart suck.
Nothing beats a delicious thin mint cookie born of a child's capitalistic venture. So goddamn delicious

Reply to LPT: Don't just wait for your turn to speak, try to actually listen to what other people say by [deleted]
To many people don't know how to have a conversation.
They listen to someone talk, and as soon as they can, they take over and talk. It just takes me to mention one key word or place and a friend takes over and says they went there and did that and had a great time....
Even worse, I find if I mention any place I visited, she will say "one of my clients went there" then list of the things at the place that everyone does. Sad part is she works at the business lounge at the airport. Its all other people's stories she is retelling...

My biggest issue is remembering what I wanted to say after a long winded statement. So, I try to keep it in my head to ensure I remember it. But yes, then I lose out on things being said.

also keep some basic supplies. Jug of water - some bars or something and an emergency blanket.

You literally mentioned a good reason in your comment. What if the Noncompete is over the top and boxes you in? What if the NDA has huge financial penalties? You won’t know until you read it.

If you frequent a bar ir restaurant, people notice if you tip nicely consistently. You'll start to get special considerations here and there.
