I'm in the same boat, why would I not leave it up to the independent contractor to determine how much taxes they should pay. Plus services like Uber Eats take a two figure percentage of everything to begin with.

Assess the relationship, define what deal breakers have been identified by this friendship and look for people with the traits you would like in a friend.

If you all quit, someone who isn’t a lazy baby will take the job and do it much better than you.

Depends on the cause and severity of the dandruff. Mine started with coal tar pre-treatment.

They could, it’s extremely unlikely outside a few certain areas.
Edit. It’s also illegal to carry a knife unless it’s less than 3” long and folds, like aa Swiss Army knife or similar.

You sound like an entitled brat who hasn’t learned how life works.

I suppose you could take 'armed' to be someone with a knife, or a bottle, doesn't have to be a gun.

It’s not the businesses. It’s the society that makes the businesses rely on tipped wages. It’s not as easy as “oh the businesses should just stop”

Absolutely. People grow, people change. We shouldn’t tie ourselves to a version of that person that no longer exists. As you said, some people are just with us for a season.
My best friend from 4th grade through most of college and young adulthood and I parted ways a while back.
I relish our time together and look upon it fondly but we had just become very different people with different interests, political beliefs, religious beliefs, etc. and trying to hold the friendship together was really tough for us. It seemed like the harder we tried to get our friendship back on track, the more we argued. So, I pretty much said to him what I just said in this paragraph and we moved on. I check in on him and his family on occasion but we are no longer in each others lives and it is best for both of us.

I live in the UK, I will not make this assumption as it would be stupid. Other countries exist.

I'm told that acting scared of people I assume are armed makes them feel bad.

Change your shampoo and conditioner to more natural ones, will take a few weeks for your scalp to adjust.

My point is that there are people out there who would like to review the NDA, noncompete, etc before they start working. If you’re not one of those people, maybe this advice just doesn’t apply to you. 🤷♂️

Better LPT: Make your own food. It’s cheaper, often healthier and you don’t need to worry about guys like this messing with your food.

First. They are not your friends. Second. You need to cut people like that from your life. Just start ignoring me and hanging out with them. I dont know what age you are, but if you are still at younger side it should be easier to acquaint new people and form new friendships. Depends also on your social skills.

The real life tip is to get a job that doesn't rely on strangers choosing to subsidise your income and instead insist on being paid a fair wage by your employer.

Fair point and I will give you that. However my point is that:
A) NDAs and the like are not going to affect you anyways unless you violate them by disclosing information you were specifically told not to. Sign it anyways.
B) Non-compete contracts are the only thing worth reviewing here. Even still they are so astronomically unlikely to ever affect you anyways. Sign it anyways unless you're working in a very niche field.
