I found it faster and less steps. Pulling the utensils out of tray is basically one or two at a time and slowed down because of watching out for fork tines and knife points. Once on counter you can grab say 4 or 5 forks at a time. Ended up about half as much movement and about half time as the old way. Granted it's only about 15 seconds time savings twice a week, but i thought it was cool.

If you ever mentioned it to them and they blew it off, they are not your friends.

Took me 20 years to drop some friends because I kept gaslighting myself that “time means something”.

No, it doesn’t, and I’ve felt so much better moving forward with my life. I May not have a core group of friends, but a zero is much much better than a negative.

What a load of shit.

I work fulltime, am a fulltime student on an accelerated program, and am doing contracts on the side.

You're a jackass who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near people's food.

You wanna know why you get stiffed so much?

It's because most of the deliveries we get are fucked up in some way. Outside of New York City, I've only gotten 3 deliveries that were the correct items and arrived on time. 3! Out of literally dozens if not hundreds of orders.

I'll never stiff a driver but if I could tip after the fact everyone would have a better experience with these apps. As it stands now, I don't know a single one of your colleagues that deserves a tip tbh.

Lets also add that this help is never instant. Wait times on average are like 3 months or more. If youre a single male, good luck, youre at the bottom of the priority list.

Also add that if you do end up needing this assistance be respectful to the people answering the calls. They are simply there to collect your info and add you to the waitlist. They dont control how fast shit goes so dont call to take your anger out on them for a situation you got your ownself into.

Honestly, if you were poor, why would you ever order delivered takeout food? I see that as a once in a while luxury, and I'm solidly middle class. And I sure as hell make sure I can tip when I decide to treat myself. I've been a contract delivery driver before, and you cannot live without the tips. It's baked into your compensation.

No one ordering grocery delivery is a small child or infant. That is called a straw man analogy. And it is completely natural to divert frustrations to others, whether it is helpful or not is certainly situational.

Thank you for attacking my character at the first sign of disagreement, it allows me to flex my grown up skill of walking away. Good bye!
