Yep. Pre-tip and it's always fucked. I just tip if it's done well upon arrival... i.e. not driving in circles after picking up food, not parking to smoke for 20 minutes and delivering the nastiest smoke contaminated food, etc.

I see responses here telling you to drop them.

This can be a red flag to new potential friends that you have no friends if you do that immediately.

It isn’t to me because I was in the same situation and I haven’t had almost any friends for years now. It’s tough to find new friends (especially ones that truly care and show it).

Best I can tell you is drop them if you are prepared to deal with their loss in the future (seeming/being lonely and possibly even depression). After all, it is not good for man to be alone.

Service Industry must fight for fair wages that are predictable and not make it a gamble.

Citizens will support service industry workers who will fight for fair wages.

Businesses that cannot afford fair wages must be shutdown because it doesn’t make good “Business” sense.

Business owners are pitting customers and workers against each other when they should be figuring out to how to run a profitable business.

Walking is underestimated.

To improve fitness all you need is to increase your activity levels a little beyond average. In crudely blunt language, can think of it as turning on a signal for your body to grow. "More" after turning on the signal does not grow faster, your body will send similar resources to repair after two working sets in good form as five. Less can be more. Only need progressive overload, one more rep than last workout, slightly more weight than last time. When going from untrained to starting out, you can turn on that signal to send nutrition to muscles to grow with very little effort. Just getting your heart rate above baseline going for a two mile walk every day is an awesome way to kick start the process without wasting effort with injury. Worth practicing set aside ego and take it easy.

When starting out you improve faster than at any other time in your fitness career. Can leverage this as a start small habit. The important thing is to create a system of exercise every day, nurture the habit. Suit up and drive to the gym and change your mind? Count that as a win. Do it again tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow you feel like going in and the workout is awesome. The important thing is maintaining the habit. Counting your wins maintains motivation.

Little habits over time are big changes. Roll a bad habit into a slightly better habit. Keep doing that. Smallest possible step putting force in the direction of change.

I think they’re trying to say if you can’t leave a tip don’t do delivery. Like when you go to a restaurant and don’t tip the waiter. I’ve seen people write “Too broke to tip, sorry!” Or “Single parent, sorry!” On HUGE bills. If you can afford the food, give them a tip.

As a leader, I learned and lived by two rules; 1) my job is to make my team members and my leader look good, and 2) develop my team members (and anyone else willing/wanting to develop) to give them something worthy to talk about in their next interview for a new role internally or externally. What I get in return is these people also have my back; it is reciprocal.

I just realized this a couple months ago. I dropped them completely. They don't text me first anyways so it was as simple as me not hitting them up. Within the past two months I managed to study and pass a Microsoft certification exam, got a raise at work, and hit new PRs at the gym. I never realized how much my mental health suffered while staying friends with toxic people. The saying, "you are a combination of the 5 closest people in your life" definitely holds some weight.
