Been doing this for years and I love it. I call it my scrapbook tree. Bringing them out every year is always a bittersweet trip down memory lane. I've also been surprised by how many Christmas shops I have found at the beach and open in the summer.

I think you are better of with 'no friends' than the WRONG friends. Slowly they are chipping away at your self-worth and guiding you into depression. You don't need that! Don't underestimate the peace and enjoyment of being alone sometimes. Find a hobby. Chat online (I don't mean to money-grubbing scammers though), go for walks, get a pet.

Gradually you will make new friends. You don't need a heap of friends. You only need a couple of really good friends that love you for you, and value your friendship.

Ditch the toxic friends. Only Toxic people would make you feel like a punching bag.

Exactly this. Who folds their sheets for other people? I fold them because they stack tidily, it's easier to select the right sheets when you can actually see them, and they look and feel nice and fresh when they go on the bed.

I also make our bed and keep the master bedroom tidy, even though no visitors ever see it.

What? Do you think this is funny?

I've been waiting for quite a while; in my time I've endured:

- 2 English monarchs

- A gaggle of popes

- Who knows how many English PM's (one of which could not afford/know how to use a comb)

And yet, here I am, waiting for sainthood, or at least to be beatified, for having survived Sr. Mary Penguin's viciously creased sheets and pillows (which did not do anything good for my red blood cell count or my hemoglobin values.)

I know that saints have to suffer adversity; but, you know, there is a limit to such things...
