pucker thy ass reverend Paris. English grammar and language is the dirtiest and most cumbersome language in all the world. The rules are designed to be broken, otherwise you would be a literary agent, copyeditor, or Elementary school english teacher; which I assume you are not.

Can you diagram a sentence like this?

> What we have not done is to pass bill after bill after bill that was obviously unconstitutional just so we could all get on record one more time as casting another vote realizing that what was going to happen was someone would file suit the next day and the legislation would never take effect.

This is advice for life in general, not just the workplace. Just admit when you fucked up, just be like "yep I fucked up, my mistake I'll do better next time " it completely removes the other person's ammo from berating you, but if you routinely make the same mistake repeatedly, then it kind of gives them some credibility for trashing you

I don’t care what anyone else does but I like folding things and seeing things organised. Letting cupboards and drawers get messy does take a toll on mental health. The small amounts of dread opening a cupboard that is full of balled up sheets or whatever isn’t worth it. I like opening cupboards and being delighted that things are easily accessible and look nice. I like to be able to recall exactly where everything is. I don’t fold and organise things because I’m afraid of judgement, I I do it because it makes my life better.
