The water has to be pretty much boiling for this to work.

Costco sells a fire extingisher that is really good for $35.
Find a friend who has a costco membership and shop with them once every month or two. Frozen single-serving meals are in wide varieties there and quite inexpensive.

I usually share my condolences and ask if they'd like to share a good memory of their loved one. I believe allowing them to remember the good times brings them closer to their loved one's memory.

Be overly kind and get friendly with the maintenance folk. Admin staff too, for that matter. Don't be too demanding or impatient when something breaks, show you want to be mindful of their schedule. Thank them for random things. Chat here and there like a buddy. Hell, be a buddy. No reason not to.
The leeway and deference it grants you when you have a busted fridge, a couple day delay on rent because you were busy or waiting for a check to clear, the general feeling of safety...it is totally worth the social effort.

My neighbour just told me he puts his daughter in the bath and then he changes all the clocks in his house and pretends it's midnight, then puts her to bed as normal! (She's 6)

The worst for the disposal is peels, like potato and carrot. They'll plug up your drain for days. Throw them outside if you're in a big natural setting, or into the trash if you are in an apartment.

Worst thing to do is eat take-out pizza and not recycle the boxes. Cook at home. Eat real food.

I follow the notion of spread credit and take blame. For instance I was at work the other day, I work on home entertainment systems, and the guy I was working with turned the volume all the way up on this persons stereo system. When it turned on it was LOUD, way too loud. I figured out what happened and turned it back down and when the homeowner came up I said "Oh sorry I accidentally turned the volume all the way up, sorry about that". My co-worker didn't even know what happened until I explained it later when the client was gone.
I could have been a dick and said "Oh he turned the volume up, sorry about that." But by taking blame it shows professionalism and shows my co-worker that we do things together and work as a team.

Even better take a video of the place, you can always grab screenshots from a video and it is easy to just walk around with your phone and capture 95% of the space.

Wait. You only designed the art and silk screened it, but you didn't grow, card, weave the cotton and sew the actual T-shirt??? You fraud!! Jk, if you operate under the assumption that everything you buy is made in a third world country under horrendous working conditions with the lions share of the money going to some amoral corporation you'll be right way more often than not.

>The CO2 doesn't go "into the air" it goes "out of the soda"
If there is no where for it to go to, then it can't go "out of the soda". Are you suggesting it goes into the plastic bottle? But then how do unopened bottle of soda stay fizzy?
>If you placed that in an open vacuum with no air at all it would go flat even faster because of the pressure differentiall.
How the hell is there an open vacuum if they have squeezed out the air?
>Squeezing a bottle didn't reduce its volume
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean but squeezing a bottle reduces the volume. Just try squeezing a bottle to remove the air and tell me how the volume hasn't reduced.
Just post a picture of a bottle you have squeezed, removing the air that has the same volume.
