I try to explain to people the only vote that actually means anything is to not purchase something. Voting or not voting for someone means nothing, deciding to never purchase from a specific entity is the only real “vote” there is

I disagree with this one. I’ve worked in restaurants for years… the soda dispensed from fountain machines are designed to be slightly diluted with ice and taste much better that way.

Also, unless you’re getting your food to-go, any sit-down restaurant has unlimited free refills for the duration of your stay. So unless you’ve got a bad server who isn’t on top of refills, I don’t much see the point in this.
