I respect that, but in todays hiring market much of it happens on LinkedIn. If you can bypass that great, but right now I’m seeing very smart and capable people scrambling to get noticed by recruiters. It’s something that should be at least considered.

Seriously! Good point about the extra workspace. I hate an unmade bed, that's how socks and underwear disappear. And who knows what kind of bugs like to hide in your messy blankets during the day!

Just don't burn candles. They are toxic to humans...
I call bullcrap.

I feel like that's a big portion of the reason it's often worth seeking additional income. You get leverage you can turn into convenience, entertainment, etc.

Eating out for lunch is just 20 minutes of being on my phone.

Its also helpful to realize that "hours of work" are really "hours of you're life you're selling to someone else".

I use my made bed everyday. Basket of laundry; dump out on the bed to sort & fold. Purse; dump out on the bed to organize. Outfits are created and rearranged on my bed. It’s a big workspace where I can see what I have all laid out and then group things into sets or categories.

I have the opposite problem of this now that I make more money. I spent like 1.5 hours making a shelf yesterday in my free time when I could have probably bought one off of Amazon for like half an hour of work.

Okay, cop.
Here's an idea. Don't look at your phone while driving at all.

Older and not Apple or Samsung. It finally dawned on me one day that there are other brands that aren't bad out there. With all the planned obsolescence, they all die after a few years anyway, so I don't choose to invest a lot.

Also, deduct your fix cost like rent, mortgage, utilities, debt payments etc. So if you make 5k / month, but have fix cost of 4k / month, you need to divide your hourly pay by 5.

LPT: use driving as an opportunity to get off the phone once in a fuckin while. You don't have to fill every idle moment of your life with phones.
Is someone sends a text, that means they can wait and you don't have to answer right away. If someone calls, use bluetooth.

Also most store-bought candles are super toxic. Making your own is an easy, cheap and fun project/date.
