There are no words to describe how sorry I am that this has happened to you.
I hope you have a good support system, I can’t imagine how hard this must be but please seek them out

I am a mum of a 5yo and newborn.
Im exhausted, I’m all touched out, I fantasise about falling asleep in the mountain of clean laundry I never have time to fold.
This is one of the few things that help me appreciate the hour and a half ritual that is bedtime, and without wanting to pull my hair out after a long day.

I think I get what OP means, when your kids throwing a tantrum in public,
instead of getting frustrated with them, lay on the ground and pretend your dead.
That’ll fix em

Or do what I do an oscillate your head between your phone and the light violently every .5 seconds to make sure you don’t miss it

Any advice for helping a weird & shy little boy keep his weirdness when entering school age? I’m really worried he’ll be peer pressured into conformity.

I mean, that's where the spice of life lies. What triggers our favorite colors? Or our favorite board game, book, magazine or TV show? Stay Weird.

My neighbor’s weird-ass yelling is kind of a drag though

This is dumb as fuck.
Life pro tip: if you want something sweet, drink sugar.

You want to be charged in the foreign currency. Same with ATMs abroad. by my_n3w_account
Only the savings account did that and was only for foreign ATM withdrawals, we almost never used it. The credit card is excellent and has no forex charges and uses the Mastercard spot rate.
Then about three months ago they removed the charges on the savings account and now only charge the spot rate.

I dont think this lpt is saying this is a replacement for budgeting

Right there with ya man. I spent $1200 on a ski pass this year and after doing doing that for the last 8 years, turns out I’m still poor. Been fun though.
