Mine stoped yelling when I started to imitate him really loud. Now he still avoids eye contact.

This is the idea I've embraced as I've gotten older. Being just like everyone else? Borrrringggggg. I'ma be weird and probably have a lot more fun than the conformists as I age. 😉

When you are in an elevator or other crowded space and don't want to share your germs.

Dont kill the cringe within yourself. Kill the part that cringes.

In what situation would I want or need to not sneeze? It’s a reflex ffs.
Stop being weird about bodily functions and stop giving medical advice.

as a single mother of a soon-to-be 6yo i guess i understand your level of exhaustion.
your fantasy hit a spot with me. my biggest fear became dying to soon so ... I won't finish the sentence.
well, how different people are, aren't we.
in case you haven't read it today: you're doing great! you feed the kids, cuddle them, put clothes on their backs, play a bit, if you can, show them affection as much as you can, you give them what you can. you're doing great!
would be great to have someone care for us.

But what if she doesn't like pizza AND doesn't like pasta? How can I embrace that?

I imagine 31 tabs is nothing new for you. You sound like you have a thoughtful and inquisitive soul. Regerts are a great thing to avoid as long as you don't regret what you avoided or society's standards don't change to make you retro-regret.
Yes, some might consider your post needing a trigger warning, but the intent couldn't be clearer that you only wish to help others with a piece of wisdom that helped you.

Not gonna argue there, but there are times where you just don't want to sneeze x)

When I really do not want to sneeze, I press the tip of my tongue to the roof of my mouth. That usually does the trick

31 tabs it is.
It started with my MIL talking about how much she missed her children being babies, that you don’t appreciate it at the time but eventually you’ll wish you could go back.
I’m not great at doing things for enjoyment but I am very motivated when it comes to avoiding regret, my brain went and twisted the idea into something a tad more morbid. Not for everyone but I find it very effective

For crying out loud. Sneezing is a natural bodily function.

When my kid is being a nuisance in public, I collapse onto the floor and start convulsing as if I’m seizing. Works a charm!

I usually press play on the pre-recorded speech and give them the option of walking out or sack of potatoes.
“ I know you’re frustrated xyz happened, it was disappointing this happened when you wanted that. It’s ok to be upset, but right now we’re in a public space, and we need to respect that other people who aren’t having a hard time are trying to enjoy themselves so we’re going to go to the car and chill until our brain cools down, ok?”
Tantrum proceeds
“You have two choices, we walk out of here together, or I can carry you out like a sack of potatoes, what’s it gonna to be?”
Sometimes she gets excited to be a sack of potatoes and the tantrum is cut short, sometimes I thank the heavens we look alike because I’d rather not have the police called for a kidnapping attempt.

Well you might want to look at the tenets of stoicism, since you're paraphrasing one of them.
