Reply to LPT Request: Healthcare providers & staff, what gift/gesture can patients give to show gratitude after a complicated birth by vco19
As a physician, I appreciate a sincere thank you. I don’t need anything else. i will always say that if you feel compelled to give some to me then donate to a charity.
In regards, to the nursing staff, you would have to ask them, but a gift card for a restaurant that delivers is always a good one. Nothing like getting done good food during a long shift. When I was in training the nurses always would share with us students and residents when we would miss the cafeteria. I always try to pay that back.

You can buy small fridges that run off 12V. You might be able to use in the car, might have an auxiliary power socket in the trunk/boot.
Also, get an insulated food bag or box, and keep things cool by putting in a freezer block, a thing you freeze overnight.

Dry ice in a cooler might help, but keep foods that aren’t meant to be frozen from contacting the ice. Failing that, a job from a company that pays a decent per diem would also work.

I love LPTs where the OP gives zero explanation as to why it’s an LPT, how it could help, etc.

Reply to LPT - save pictures of your house from summer time in case you need to sell in the winter by Neat-Beautiful-5505
Not necessarily the best advice:
-
an “out of season” looks like it was re-listed after a long time on the market;
-
as in my case, a little snow coverage obscured the horrible condition my large yard was in, ie turned to a lot of dirt during many droughts. Looked amazing in photos, and it worked.

I'm scent sensitive but my SO wants the odorizer. I can smell the thing through the whole house within 15 minutes, and it gets nauseating after that. Have it set to run for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening.
Putting it into a smart plug was a great compromise, and the added benefit that the fluid will last 50x longer.

Whenever I see out-of-season real estate pictures, I tend to assume that the house has been on the market since it looked like that outside.

This. How are you, where you from, any feelings about INSERT SPORTS EVENT HERE. If you treat conversations like you are the talk show host and they are your guest, most people will talk. Always read the mood though, some people just hate small talk.
