Personally, I don't have an agenda when I speak to new people. I think folks can sense that. When they talk I listen. When I reply, I acknowledge the last thing they said so they know they're being listened to. I address them by their names every so often during the conversation. People love hearing thier own names. I believe that things like this makes for a great first chat.

You can also sign up to receive daily emails with pics if you don’t want to go to the site every day. I get an email every morning showing me exactly what is coming to my mailbox. It will also show packages that are delivered through USPS a few days before they get to you and the expected date of delivery.

It took me years to finally admit it, but Yeti builds a damn good cooler. I bought a Roadie 24 (their smallest hard cooler), and it keeps ice in the middle of the NC summer for a week.

With any cooler, though, pre-cooling is important. Load with ice the night before you need to use it, and then dump the water/ice and replace with new ice. The new load of ice won't be wasted in getting the temperature down, just maintaining it.

You don’t have to hang out for someone’s bad reaction. All you have to say is that they were denied based on credit and direct them to the procedure to request a copy of their credit report (which is legally all you’d ever need to say) and do this on a loop.

I worked at a hotel, and pretty much all you need to do with unruly kids is look them in the eye and say “out” while pointing at the door, until they leave. If you know who the parents are, you can send nasty grams until it stops - unsupervised children in common areas is usually against the lease.

I never count on getting a large tax return. It is low because you are getting all your money as you make it instead of letting the government hang onto it interest free until you file for your returns. I consider this a good thing.

This is the right take. Talking with people because you want something is super obvious. You should want to talk to people who are interesting or fun to be around just for the sake of being with them. After a while of doing that you'll become friends and then you'll want to help them and they will want to help you.

The goal should be to make friends with people that you like spending time with. Any benefits that come from that are all bonuses.

practice makes perfect. You're afraid of stuff that never happend ( presumably, just like 95 % of fears that people have )

Even if somebody reacts poorly, your answer will not change. You do not care nor can do anything about it. Just keep calm and repeat your answer.

Did I mention that practice makes perfect?

I've noticed if the person who stands up to them is a little bigger they play it off and avoid that person But almost allways rush to the ez victim to pick on. Most bullied are actually sissies on the inside, proven fact. But when I worked at State Prison I see some bullies who were not sissies and can beat three who are also as big but not as bad . But everyone knows most bullies secretly wear pink panties.
