This logically breaks down 100%.

No company on the planet would make inferior products just to sell them at home Depot. This would make their better products just perform worse. As you would see a failure rate of tools increase dramatically from just one shop (which is honestly the most popular) giving them a bad record. On top of that even if you consider they 'bin' these devices, they would still not logically want the bad ones at one store while also selling the good ones at other stored. It goes back to the same 'Image' problem.

I do this last bit. My current job pays better than any of my others. I have a really hard time saving money. So I put some extra toward tax stuff, keeping my money only slightly higher than my normal quality of life, to keep me on a shorter leash. That way my return feels more like an occasion and a chance to buy things I otherwise couldn't have saved for.

I'm allergic, and it's cumulative. The more bites I have, the worse the swellings. And to make it worse, in a group of people, I'll always get the most bites 😖

I've found nothing that makes it totally go away, but using heat as soon as I notice the bite helps a lot.

I was using a hot spoon for a long time and last summer discovered that there are insect bite relief pens.

They're small pen shaped things that you can easily fit in your purse. They have a metal pad that heats up when activated.

What's good about them is that they don't stay hot longer than needed so there's no risk of burns. Plus, they're more portable and get less attention than a spoon with a lighter 😅

I have definitely found this to be true at both Walmart and Costco, and heard lots of logical reasoning for it. I recently started shopping at a big local / non chain hardware store in my area and hand down same brand / selection of products seem to be better quality 10/10 times. Anecdotal for sure, but between the lousy quality of stuff and the lousy / nonexistent help I get, I don’t shop there unless I have to.

If the allowance is so small, what is the cost of bags of frozen ice then? This in combination with the cooler that other posts have mentioned would be really effective. Otherwise you could buy the freezer blocks to keep the food cold and recharge them at the various hotel freezers that you will be at - though I think most hotels only have fridges and not freezers.
