Save your money - don’t consume. Don’t buy a new car or at least keep your car for 10 years (over the course of your life you can save $500,000, 1/2 a million dollars, on car costs and insurance). Don’t smoke, keep a healthy weight, do the things you love, and find a person who loves you for who you are (and you love for who they are).

I associate my health also with my physical fitness. And I didn't have workout clothes or suitable gym shoes, so those were needed. Other than the clothing/shoes, the fresh quality foods have also been more expensive.

But I agree that protein/creatine, and vitamins/supplements may not be necessary with proper diets, but they do help to have good health.

I save a ton of money not drinking. All those supplements and everything else you are spending money on is most likely a by product of your addictive personality trait. Pair of shoes and few cheap workout clothes don’t cost nearly as much as a daily 12 pack of beer. Also supplements just give you expensive pee. Unless you juicing trend and test and everything else under the sun liver king.

If you're spending the money you would have otherwise spent on booze on other shit the "fitness industry" is trying to sell you, then you might want to consider that you might just be switching addictions, especially if you don't have any sort of program to help you figure out why you were drinking in the first place

I think you took two words “love” & “freely” and made the connection. But nothing of what I said renders anyone incapable of choosing who to be with, or enables abuse or coercion. Read more carefully what I wrote. It merely describes relations free of possessiveness, and i question those that demand reciprocity to love. None of that should be controversial. Don’t we all always talk about love devoid of condition as love of the highest form?

If you are 1) American and 2) male: you need to register for selective service.

  1. your credit is to be protected at all times: know what your score is, what’s hurting you and what helps. Never pay for your credit report or a program to help you monitor it-it’s yours for free.

  2. understand taxes and insurance. Study them, become a home-grown expert.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this yet, but look up Project Oxygen from Google. They did this huge study on what makes a good manager and it is in my opinion very insightful. There is a Harvard business Review article on it that is really good and I'm sure there are some free alternative resources on it as well. Here are the 8 behaviors of a good manager according to the study:

  1. Be a good coach
  2. Empower your team and don’t micromanage
  3. Express interest in team members’ success and personal well-being
  4. Be productive and results-oriented
  5. Be a good communicator and listen to your team
  6. Help your employees with career development
  7. Have a clear vision and strategy for the team
  8. Have key technical skills so you can help advise the team

I have a home ozone generator machine for this, I put it inside the car, close all windows but a small crack, let it run for 20-30 minutes and it will kill any odor, cigarette, dog, barf, BO, you name it. Beware, this acts by oxidizing and killing any organic matter, and with it the smell, this is dangerous to inhale as it will burn your airways and lungs, but doing it with the right precautions, it works wonderfully.
