Make sure to report this post as not a LPT. OP is spouting a lot of misinformation.

Reply to LPT REQUEST How not to give up on things? by Magegi
Don't compare yourself to others. You can only compare yourself to yourself. Be patient with yourself, and don't set deadlines or specific goals. If you're having trouble feeling motivated, you don't have to do anything, you get to do something. Start by doing one small thing each day to improve from where you are today. Whenever you think of tasks in front of you, frame it as "I get to do this today." Acknowledge your human physiology. You learn better mid-morning after a good night's sleep. There's no such thing as a night owl, it's just a broken sleep cycle; be asleep by 10 PM. There is nothing wrong with masturbation, but without enough physical activity, it can drain your body of the reward chemicals your brain uses to tell you when you've done a good job. If you do this you will see the work become its own reward. Your brain will dump dopamine when you reach a new realization and that will motivate you to keep going and pull you back when you've been away.

I've used this treatment for midge bites, which for me, are far worse than mosquito bites.
It works, but provides only temporary relief.

Take advice with a grain of salt.
Things that work well for one person may not work the same for you.

And the alcoholics unite! Keep saying what you want to defend yourself, but 12 beers daily is a problem. Seek help.

They can say what they want. I went from a bit overweight, lazy POS, to strong fit athletic build in only four months.
And I feel great.
But it was NOT cheap!

There is nothing wrong with protein, creatine, vitamins, and minerals. They are all necessary for living a healthy life.
Anybody who is saying they are not necessary, are poor & unhealthy.

Yes I feel like if you tell others before, you're kinda already getting the reward before doing the work. More fun to have done it already.

Maxing your IRA from 20-30 you will have the same amount of money at 65 as if you maxed your IRA from 30-65. It will just cost you significantly less.
If you absolutely do your best in life you will have little to regret. You can not do more then your best.

My fitness is running. Outside. With a small investment in my own at-home weights and fitness doodads. Some of them I’ve had for 20 years.
The only real cost after lifestyle adjustments has been $180 on shoes every year.
If I was a weekly regular at the liquor store, I’d have paid for all my stuff for 25 years within a few months.
