I feel for you about getting bullied and teased about your height. Unfortunately, it's not really about your height: a bully will just torture you over anything, so getting taller won't help. It's the same for good nature teasing, too. They will. Just shift to teasing you About your feet or ears or haircut.

I know its not what you want to hear, but wait and let nature do is thing. If there was anything that actually worked, it wouldn't be a secret: it would be as well known as viagra and someone would be making money hand over fist selling it.

Just make sure you don't stunt your growth: which it sounds like you are already doing, eating healthy and exercising. Stay away from chemicals that might confuse or shut down your growth plates. Look at your father and uncle on both sides of the family. You might get a few inches in them with healthy living, but ultimately that's your expected range.

You can be a good conversationalist and also overshare personnal things. The two are not mutually exclusive.

That being said, just pick topics that are not personal, yet interesting to everyone. (sports is an easy one since it's less controversial than politics.. but not everyone loves sports so be careful).

Ask open ended questions (avoid questions with simple yes or no answers)

A great way to get comfortable conversing with others is to ask good questions. After introductions, start with the usual such as where they grew up or what they do with their free time. Listen and take cues for follow up questions. That will let you know their own level of comfort level of sharing, and they will be more interested in the conversation because people do like to talk about themselves. Also, keep it positive. We each have enough negative BS thrown at us each day, and an upbeat conversation where we are listened to is a welcome event.

It's not directly body odor.. its more the smell of the synthetic fibers that I seem to be sensitive to and the fact that front loaders have a generally shit design with the rubber gasket trapping moisture and kid socks and mildewing. I'm generally responsible enough to check the gasket and clean it out after use but I have 4 people from 12 to 70 doing laundry in my house and the likelihood of "someone" leaving a load in long enough to mildew approaches unity in any two-week period. A cup of vinegar eliminates most any residual odor from piss-soaked kid bedding to the weird synthetic chamois in my riding bibs to the dog bed cover. It's a one stop shop lol. I agree with you about using quality detergent; I feel the same way about house paint! it's worth spending the extra money!

edit: i just realized that my work computer is signed into a different account .. but tis I Boonestafa!
