Surprised nobody has mentioned depression as a possible cause. Do you have health insurance that would cover a therapist?

If not, I agree with the suggestion of exercise. It doesn't have to be much. Walk around the house a few times in the morning and evening. Walk around the building after you clock out at work. Take the steps down from all of your classes.

Stop trying to date, instead start planning new activities you like to do and suck it up and do them alone. At least the people you meet are doing something you like!

It's more that "stop the flow of urine" can interfere with your brain's natural connection to the pelvic floor when urinating (something that is very much automatic and reflexive rather than intentional). Definitely a lot of people often squeeze hard and end up contracting more than just the pelvic floor, like the glutes and adductors.

You can think about drawing up a pea with your urethra, or drawing your testicles up which helps direct the squeeze and lift of a Kegel. It's also important you pair Kegels with breathing - relax as you inhale and then engage your pelvic floor when you exhale. Since the pelvic floor contraction occurs automatically with exhalation, it becomes much easier to coordinate and build the proper connections.

It’s mostly genetic. However there are some exceptions now and again. I’ve known a few people who were short and then grew 6 inches in a summer. In my wife’s family people are either really short or really tall. She’s 5”8’ and her sister is 5 feet tall. She’s taller than brother her parents as well. Half her cousins are quite short and the other half are pretty tall. Genetics are weird. Just ride it out

I don’t agree with this. In a professional setting, absolutely. When talking to elderly, yes When having a discussion with a friend, you shouldn’t have to worry. Even my therapist will use cuss words when I’m having a session because he realizes how fucked something is and will actually use that word. I appreciate it because that’s in my vocabulary. Just know your audience

Mmmmmm, studies show cursing can improve a speaker's perceived honesty. I was told to curse more in law school in certain settings and it has been very effective for me.

So you’re saying that stopping the flow of urine might be a happen even through improper practice and not a good way of learning to dissociate the different muscles ? I’ve had trouble with that before, I once ended up with a lasting soreness and I’ve felt like I was contracting more muscles than necessary. It’s never been clear to me exactly what I was supposed to do to gain more control and enhance orgasms so I can see your point.
