I appreciate your concern for him, and I don’t want to sound like I’m blowing off your advice, but we have tried that with no success. I’ve offered to try and help with his technique/strategy, but he just blows me off and falls back into the same “I suck” mentality.
I guess I’m asking for more confrontational advice, because trying to change his outlook hasn’t worked. I think he really needs to hear how it affects others. Any thoughts on that question? Thanks again btw

nope pilots actually get their own oxygen supply. when the masks deploy it combies some chemicals that produce oxygen and would last about 10-14 mins

Thank you for giving direct advice. I think it might help to ease him into the “complainers are annoying” point of view before hitting him with that statement

That’s a good POV, thank you for thinking about it that way. I’m not sure if my words will really have an impact on him, but there is only one way to find out. Thanks again

Statistically, middle seats in the rear of the airplane are safest. Not to mention, an emergency descent the attitude (angle) of the nose is only 10 degrees down.

OP frequently posts on r/antiwork so this LPT being fucking stupid makes sense.

5 hours? I could go to Austin from Dallas and back and by the time you get to work I will be an hour out from Dallas. Are there no other employment opportunities in your area?

Reply to LPT request: How to be a good conversationalist without oversharing personal things? by It_hurtsss
The biggest thing to being a good conversationalist is listening to other people. A lot of people just make the mistake of waiting their turn to talk and not actually paying attention to what others are saying. Also avoid trying to "one up "people

Take time to work on yourself (especially emotionally/mentally) and make friends (meet up is a good place to meet people with similar hobbies). I look for people who are continuing to grow and improve themselves, but not a project or someone I need to change. Dating is not easy, I like OK Cupid - but only select non monogamous if you are ok with that for the duration of your relationship. All the guys I have talked to have said they have to pay for the apps that require them to see likes. Remember women are independent and want someone they enjoy hanging out with and complement them… the older women get the less ok they are with manipulation and abuse I’ve actions

Reply to LPT Request- Do you think it's safe to hike solo in places with lots of black bears? by [deleted]
Yeah. Bear spray is reassuring. And like others said, if you do come across one, make plenty of noise. A lot of hikes I carry a stick and bang it against trees. I came across a black bear once in my life. It was eating leaves off of a tree. I made a ton of noise and eventually it slowly meandered away.

The only economically rich part of my country is in it's Capital. You quite literally can't find a production agency around where I live
Also it's not a job. It's an internship

Second counterpoint to this nonsense: the reason for avoiding hot beverages isn’t because they go flying. It’s because the water tanks/coffee machines/kettles are never cleaned and studied have shown the quality of the water to be poor.
