The basics of guitar and piano are the same, sheet-music wise (aside from the TAB portion; piano just puts the finger number directly next to the notes if needed), so there's really no "foreign concepts" if you switch from guitar to piano early on. The differences that put learning piano first a step above guitar is it's a lot easier to push a piano key than to pluck a guitar string, and you don't have to re-tune a piano every time you play it/change keys

EDIT: damn I upset the guitar simps, guess I'm not a real musician

My boss actually instilled this in me over the last couple years, in a different manner but essentially the same message. “If someone does or says something that pisses you off or gets your riled up, don’t act on it today. Sleep on it and take a day or two to reflect. If you still feel that same way you felt when it happened, then act on it.”

If I get an idea or a thought I need to remember a little later I usually say (or sing) the thing out loud a couple of times, sometimes I stamp my foot or pinch myself or do some other physical thing at the same time. This somehow makes me remember it better.

Now try visualizing a tall, 48 year old bearded man stomping his foot and singing “buuuuuy butter” a couple of times….
