Identify your target companies. Find out what temp agency they use. Take any job offered. Once you are in, you will have access to internal hiring boards not accessible to the public, and to hiring managers. Source: That is how I went from a lowly temp data entry job to a perm senior position in two years.

I mean, if you know them, use your best judgment. My brother does stuff like this regularly where I'm out maybe coming home from work or something and just offers me a ride because we live pretty close. This seems like quite a normal thing for people who are close. Family and good friends generally like helping each other out and seeing each other. Same deal with friends and my Aunt who'll sometimes see me out walking in rain or something and offer me a ride just because they care.

Not everyone is out to get you. Ofcourse you should always use your best judgment, if its just some random person I'm not stepping a foot in that car but I generally heavily vet those close to me so anyone who I trust enough to consider a friend is someone I'd trust. Although not everyone vets their friends particularly well so I understand having some mistrust but really, if I thought someone was gonna do something to me they wouldn't be my friend in the first place.

Are we talking hollywood? Broadway? Off-broadway? Local films?

Some of my theatre friends went to acting school. I think 2 are doing professional theatre and had to move for that opportunity. 1 got a gig on a cruise ship. 1 is a stage manager for Mirvish.

The rest just do community theatre here and hold day jobs. Some do comedy nights or whatever to scratch the itch.

Some make local films (or Toronto, which is close) doing sets, writing, etc. That appears to be gig work.

I don't think you make a lot acting anything but hollywood famous.

Well yes and no, and they don't do a good job at explaining it more accurately. You have to decide on a path that either has lots of jobs, or you know your way into one if it doesn't. You gotta look at job availability even before yoy choose that degree. Getting your "dream" degree when there are no or very few jobs for it is just a waste of 50k+.

I'll start of by saying acting as a career is a highly competitive field. So if you want to act professionally then I'd say be prepared to move to an area w/ a lot of jobs and start auditioning. You probably won't make it because you not only need to be talented, but also connected, and very lucky. I'd stay away from schools and tutors unless you get a big break and realize you need more training to actually move forward w/ a career.

If you're looking to do it as a hobby there's plenty of stuff you can do. Join a local theater group, find an online community, write/produce/act in your own soap opera videos. Honestly I think w/ how the world is today you might have a better chance turning professional making tiktok soap opera videos as you would auditioning for roles in Hollywood.

No I believe it still applies to percussion. Instruments involving keys are played in time like any other instrument. Hitting the right keys at the right time can be directly correlated to hitting the drums in time.

I keep mine at home if they have a fever. If it's just snot or a couch but they are fine otherwise are going. Little kids are snotting all over the place like 90% of the time, if I need to keep him home for that he wouldn't go to school at all.

I played guitar and bass for about 20 years before I tried learning the keyboard instruments. Though I can't read music at all, just learning basic major and minor chords on the keyboard helped me understand a lot about how music works.
