Shows and movies. I have always loved content like that. I have watched almost every movie you can think of and shows. And have read a decent amount of books. Even wrote my own and wrote my own script for a show. So I definitely would go into the show/movie industry

Did the person ever work before? Cuz they'll lose every job to someone who worked before even at McDonald's if the employer can confirm that person can show up on time and work well with the public and coworkers. If someone has never worked they are not only an unknown entity, they are fighting the current stereotype of being lazy and entitled cuz their mom is still doing their laundry while they play video games.
Companies don't want to waste training dollars and all that HR crap you have to do just to find out they hired someone who sleeps through their alarm or thinks a hangover is a legit reason to call in sick.

I mean... if OP has a degree in a social science, s/he has okay chances. Not like getting a degree in straight-up math or biology would be any better.
Edit: apparently math was a bad example. How about... kinesiology then...? lol

Reply to LPT Request: How to spend less time talking about myself or my own personal stories to people in awkward social settings? by Apondfrog
Anything you want to talk about, simply ask them Instead…. You love the gym, ask if they do any sports? You have a cool story ablut the time you went to Paris? Ask if they have been to Paris? Etc …

Reply to LPT: If you are considering learning a musical instrument or learning to sing, I highly recommend also learning the basics of a piano. Knowing your way around a keyboard will help you understand what you're doing on all other instruments and while singing. by BellyScratchFTW
I always found it easier to learn notes after I knew all the sounds by heart. I still can't do notes at all but I can perfectly tune a guitar and violin by ear but I can't remember the daggon string names half the time.

Reply to LPT request: How do I overcome the freedom and anxiety of having to begin a new day? by itgoesdownandup
I count to three and force myself up and splash water on my face, then before leaving for work I write down my main task for the day (even if it’s not work related) helps me not focus on anxiety and instead on progression

And if you're a singer, straight up learn to read music. Otherwise the instrumentalists will pick on you: and they'll be right to do it. No one wants to coddle your lack of diligence

Hey mom, put the bong down, you're getting too paranoid.
Context is everything. Use your best judgment but by no means is this a steadfast rule.

Agree, it was good but now the online job application system is sooo saturated between websites and recruiting companies. Apply using a mix of everything and even through friends and family connections in person! Job fairs help too, hit them up at any local colleges even if you don't attend the school, if you can get in of course.

Lol you live in a shithole if this is real advice.. In civilised countries it’s normal to offer people a ride (in rural areas) especially in bad weather. I will offer anyone a ride i see walking home on my way to and from work! Never had anything bad happen to me and was happy people offered me a ride when i was walking home from highschool!

If someone has access to your search history then wouldn’t they also have access to your keystrokes? I mean if that’s the case then it seems like you’re screwed either way. who doesn’t use private browsing? What search history? 🤣
Either way, deleting this post, no biggy.

I reached out to all local staffing agencies in my city and got set up with initial interviews. Some agencies are better than others. The last agency placement I received opened up a career door. While I no longer work at the job I was placed in, I work for a former customer I had in that role. Best of luck!
