Reply to LPT: When you dine in a restaurant in USA or Canada, don't leave a tip and there will no repercussions. by milkcowcafe
You’ll lose friends you go out to eat with. If you’re trying to date, you’ll lose dates. You might not lose them all, but you’ll lose all the decent ones. You’ll get subpar food and service if you return.
And then there’s the fact that you’re harming your server without helping anything. But that’s not about you, so it sounds like you don’t care about it.

Reply to LPT: When talking to old people or people that are hard of hearing, start the sentence slowly, in order to catch their attention and avoid having to repeat yourself. by 70Ytterbium
Slowing down is great but since the high frequency hearing is usually first to go, a friend wanted a ride to High st I drove him to I st. Check out the speech banana and you will learn to replace difficult words with easier words again this is for high frequency hearing loss. "F" "TH" and "S" are very difficult to hear and are on the right of the speech banana, sounds on the left side of the speech banana are easier to hear. For a long time I thought people needed to speak louder, well some people do, speaking slowly and allowing me to see their lips, because my brain is working overtime trying to understand. When I can't I get frustrated and will eventually say oh yes without understanding a thing. Certain people with accents on the phone I can't make out a single word they say. Here are examples of difficult words vs words that are easier to hear
This vs That
Taste vs Flavor
First vs One
Past vs Before
Thirsty vs Drink
Nice vs Good
House vs Home
She vs Her
Such vs Very
Almost vs Nearly

Cant you say the same about the employee? If they work there, they are supporting wage set up. Restaurants would have to pay more if there weren’t enough people wanting to be servers

Hydrogen Peroxide is amazing when it comes removing blood stains. You will have to use a bit of elbow grease, and afterwards toss a clothing in to a washing machine.
Years ago I adopted a 7month old female dog from a friend. A month or two later she had her first period. With in 3 days, my bed covers looked liked a murder scene. A lot of blood stains, blood stains on carpet all over the house.
I bought reusable dog diapers and maxi pads for her.
But Hydrogen Peroxide removed ALL blood stains. It took several hours, a lot of work, and several microfiber pads. But I was able to remove all blood stains.

lmao at everyone crying about the servers not getting money. it's the employers job to pay them not ours. They are literally part of the problem by choosing to work at places like that.

I openly use it as a reason not to tip. It certainly helps me, and I’m ok with it. My profession should be getting the most tips, but we don’t. So maybe that’s why easier for me to not tip others.
