Reply to LPT: If you have young children you should teach them your phone number as early as 4 years old. However long it takes- using picture cards or any other learning tricks, you should make them memorize it. That way if they ever get lost etc., they can ask a store employee to call you. by v-shizzle

When I taught my 3 year old her phone number and address, her 2 year old sister was listening and learned them also. It was amazing how easy it was for them to learn .

Charity was the reason my engagement was called off. Also her sister Destiny.

Great idea and exactly what i did. Lab grown diamonds are more sustainable and ethically sourced, too 🌎

Look in to Moissanite! Better and cheaper than diamond. Don't spend a shit load.

why does it matter? there is only one mall and one child. surely the parents won't be like "oh uhmm maybe they are looking for someone else"

We didn’t do Jingle Bells, but my wife made up a song for both the phone number and address. We haven’t lived at that address for years, but both still remember the song.

Doesn’t work for the HBO Max extension (or, I assume, the others offered) through Hulu. I did exactly this hoping to save myself having to remember to cancel my trial later, and the access ended immediately.

This is a good way to lose your trial, don't listen to this generalized LPT without confirmation the trial will continue until its period ends

Alot of companies have gotten wise to this so the moment you cancel is the moment your lose your access. YMMV

THIS. My kids knew our phone number at 2 years old b/c i sang it to the refrain of the Mickey Mouse song. A bit later they memorized my cell number with a song about the ancient King David that has only 5 words and a catchy tune (Kids learn it in religious school very early; it has silly hand gestures). By the time they were ready to memorize Dad's cell, they picked the song and wrote lyrics to go with the refrain.
I also pointed out street names and major intersections near our home when we were running errands until I was confident they knew how to name them.

I set an event on my calendar with several alerts for the trial expiration date if it will not let me cancel immediately without losing my trial.

And please teach them your first and last names!! I work in retail and when a lost child tells you that mommy's name is Mommy it makes it incredibly hard to call you over the intercom.
As soon as my son could grasp the concept he was able to recite mom and dad's first and last names, our phone number and our address. Every time we were in a super busy or crowded place I would also be sure to point out the uniforms of employees/security guards as we walked around.

They will remember if you make it into a song.
