What are some techniques that have helped you get things done?

It's still a bad LPT too.
If 5-10 dollars a paycheck is the difference between feeding your kid or not, a potential $200 tax payment would kill you.
Every year there's idiots that claim "exempt" from with holdings and then end up owing insane amounts of money because they didn't realize being exempt from withholdings didn't mean exempt from taxes.

Add “Learn how to spell ‘likelihood’.” to your calendar for tomorrow.

I've been using my Gmail account for over 20 years. There's no other cloud storage I've been using that long.
And yes, I know, putting all my eggs in one basket is risky. But wholesale deletion is certainly not the answer.

This is a great tip until you need to recover your account or do a password reset and can't remember exactly what you made it. This practice in conjunction with a password manager is good though!

Been using this for several years. If the website doesn’t accept an email with a +, you can also just add random periods to your email. Works the same.
The advantage is now you know who is selling your email (looking at you Comcast!) and you can just block the email that is getting spammed.

This works for some people. There is never a one size fits all for organization and productivity. Some people do better with open to-do lists.

GTD is not about this at all. It's a great way to organize your life, I use it's methods pretty much exclusively and it's definitely not about work work work.

Are talking about shift-? to get a list of navigation hot key commands? That's definitely not what I'm looking for, but I appreciate the help. Have a nice day!

You can create multiple subtasks within a task but its not a project management tool. I use it to track simple tasks but also to gather ideas or information as a reminder. There is also MS planner which can be used to deal with more complex tasks while being very intuitive.
