I'm in southern Ontario, Canada. Not sure where you are.
I'm 53 and drive a 2016 Focus ST. No accidents or claims since forever. From memory Costco quoted me about $1400. I pay just under $1100 with Belair. Got plenty of quotes in the 1100-1300 range.
Sickens me, actually. I'm originally from the UK. My insurance there would be less than half of what I pay here.

I have a 2018 GMC Canyon and pay $600/ year for full coverage. Costco can absolutely be beaten.

Where did you find a cheaper quote? I was looking around recently since my Costco premium went up when I sold my 2nd car and lost my multi car discount.

Use an app like MyFitnessPal to track in real-time you calorie input. It really helped me a lot.

Go for a small dealership if you can, they are usually more personable and honest.
Bring some one with you, it helps having a second set of senses.

The $4.99 whole rotisserie chicken makes it worth it. Car rentals through Costco are also great.

Watch your wrist placement when typing. Carpal tunnel is painful. Make sure your screen is at or just above eye level to prevent neck and upper back pain.

Many of my friends that were single 10 years ago and were certain that they never want to have kids are now in relationships with kids or planning having kids.
These kind of discussions are only awkward when you make them awkward

Using a service like HelloFresh or Marley Spoon can help greatly with getting comfortable with cooking!
It takes away two of the hurdles: Buying the right ingredients and knowing when to what during cooking.
So you can ease into it, learn the mechanical side and get experience.

Reply to LPT: How to support someone grieving: the process is not linear and often takes longer than people think (even, and sometimes especially, when the relationship with the deceased was painful or estranged). A year may seem like a long time since a death, but to the grieving, it can feel very recent. by survivalothefittest
This will be the seventh year without my dad. I still break down and cry sometimes and I am okay with that. At first, I tried to bottle up my feelings, or drink them under the surface. That led to a lot of harmful behaviors that I regret.

Last year my spouse gashed his leg and the urgent care used petroleum jelly both to protect the wound from air, and to keep the dressing from sticking.
They said current standard of care says not to use antibiotic ointment; it’s better to clean thoroughly then use just a barrier cream (like petroleum jelly).

Good advice. You need to walk on eggshells around these types.

It’s worth it for the cheap gas and the $5 rotisserie chickens.

If they’re in a meeting asking for feedback, like in software, then no.
If you’re talking about something high level and the detail isn’t important. Definitely. You’ll just seem confrontational if you do it too much.
There’s a middle ground.

Edit: added below Also, it’s how you do it. Being a bellend and saying you’re wrong because etc is a dick move. Wording and attitude matter more than most.
Remember, most people get ahead by networking, playing the business game, it’s unfortunate but happens.
If you’re always right but you’re a dick about it, nobody will want to work with you so it won’t matter how smart you are, you’re just going to have to start a business so you can do what you want.

YMMV on unbeatable prices. I checked multiple times over the years and other quotes were always cheaper. It wasn't always a huge difference but there was not a single time where the Costco insurance was the cheapest.
