They definitely do their fair share of cleaning, cooking and childcare when they’re home! I’m a very messy person by nature so unless I keep up on my messes the house become a disaster, he is a very tidy person and having him cleaning up after me when he is home is okay sometimes, but is unfair to expect always

Then you haven't been where I live. The nearest Costco is at $4.36. There is an Arco across the street at $4.38, a Shell 2 blocks down at $4.42 and some lesser known brands scattered nearby between $4.40 and $4.50.

I would rather spend a handful of pennies more on gas than deal with the long wait times for Costco.

If you are going to call someone deranged, maybe don't sound deranged yourself.

I have an uncle & auntie, one of which never wanted to get married but wanted kids, the other wanted a marriage but never wanted to have kids. They ended up doing neither, I guess both technically "gave in" but in a different respect to what people would imagine. They seem happy enough, but I do think both would have made great parents.

The key is not to ignore the thoughts; acknowledge them! During the day think about what kind of thoughts they are, and why they are unhelpful. Then at night you can remind yourself; it’s this thought again; I don’t need to believe it because (insert reason you came up with in the daytime).

And then you can move on to other stories.
