Even though I don't want to do it, walking, yoga and weight lifting are slowly changing my life. Walking allows me time to process thoughts. Yoga stretches out those desk job muscles. Weights are a dopamine hit I always feel better for afterwards. My walk is 30-90 minutes, yoga 20-20, and weights 30-45. I choose based on my mood and time.

Oh man this is definitely the best LPT I've seen in a while, thank you! I hate those dumb things, rarely ever anything decent on it and it's always way too loud

The intent is to reduce plastic waste at a personal level. As I said in the post, the savings is a secondhand aspect. I just want to reduce my plastic waste.

No most people get married because they have children or the relationship is dying? If you’re in a healthy relationship why spend all that money just to prove what was already proven you guys love each other.

I moved from Virginia to Idaho and did exactly that - u-haul and towed my car

Yeah my great aunt and uncle didn’t want kids and they never did and the bloodline ends with them.

Thank you for this! I’ve recently just been putting all the stuff I purchase out of the packaging and into bags but was feeling really guilty of using so many bags but wanted a specific bag for raw chicken and another for sausage and etc and had this thought.

Same with tires. They are cheaper anywhere else.

There’s a whole bunch of stuff if you look online. I always just do a quick google if I’m unsure and confirm with the website

So, what did she say when you ask her?

Maybe you have never experienced this. Maybe you are actually the person who is mean to others. A customer at your work who has a nasty attitude or a clerk at a store with a sarcastic manner to you when you ask a question, maybe when this happens to you, it is called for. Maybe you are the one who is mean for no reason. Maybe you are actually a Karen and don’t realize it?

It's a bit of a pain since you'll probably end up being on the phone for about 45 mins with each insurer on hold/answering questions/discussing coverage options, etc. Well worth it every couple of years though to a) get the best premium you can find and b) review your coverages to make sure they're still appropriate for your needs. Both auto and home can be covered in one phone call.
You could start by asking around some of your friends and colleagues to see who they use, then simply call those insurers asking if they can give you a quote. Also, do some research to see if you're eligible for any group discounts (for instance a lot of colleges or universities, professional associations, etc will negotiate favourable discounts for their members with specific insurers).

Thanks. I'm almost 30, partner almost 40. I would absolutely love if everyone and their brother stopped asking us if we changed our minds, and reminding us that we're "running out of time."

I used a UHaul container to move my stuff across country and it worked out great. However it was about $1400 so not cheap. But maybe cheaper than hiring movers.

I don't get that. I get the principle behind this tip is "don't pry". If your friend starts talking to you about a subject, pretty clearly it's okay to talk about. If you have to ask about a subject, maybe you oughtn't.

Be careful. I did this. The stuff arrived, but they beat the crap out of the boxes and let them get wet. Ruined a bunch of stuff.
