Even though I don't want to do it, walking, yoga and weight lifting are slowly changing my life. Walking allows me time to process thoughts. Yoga stretches out those desk job muscles. Weights are a dopamine hit I always feel better for afterwards. My walk is 30-90 minutes, yoga 20-20, and weights 30-45. I choose based on my mood and time.

Maybe you have never experienced this. Maybe you are actually the person who is mean to others. A customer at your work who has a nasty attitude or a clerk at a store with a sarcastic manner to you when you ask a question, maybe when this happens to you, it is called for. Maybe you are the one who is mean for no reason. Maybe you are actually a Karen and don’t realize it?

It's a bit of a pain since you'll probably end up being on the phone for about 45 mins with each insurer on hold/answering questions/discussing coverage options, etc. Well worth it every couple of years though to a) get the best premium you can find and b) review your coverages to make sure they're still appropriate for your needs. Both auto and home can be covered in one phone call.

You could start by asking around some of your friends and colleagues to see who they use, then simply call those insurers asking if they can give you a quote. Also, do some research to see if you're eligible for any group discounts (for instance a lot of colleges or universities, professional associations, etc will negotiate favourable discounts for their members with specific insurers).

I don't get that. I get the principle behind this tip is "don't pry". If your friend starts talking to you about a subject, pretty clearly it's okay to talk about. If you have to ask about a subject, maybe you oughtn't.
