They aren't allowed to block out their lunch because they need to be flexible. Plus they have both scheduled him for things when he was already scheduled for something else by the other supervisor. No care is given.

But he likes the job and bosses otherwise so he doesn't want to make it a thing.

I got promoted to salary but only work 35 hours, when I previously worked 37.5 hours as an hourly person. Definitely worth checking, but salary doesn’t always mean “work more”. In fact, since I get paid breaks I’m actually paid for more than 35 hours while on salary, but only work 35.

On hourly, I worked 37.5 and got paid for 37.5.

uhhh I understand you but I don't agree. I don't have the numbers of any of my colleagues and most of the stuff/homework/news for uni is posted in the representative groups. It's posted nowhere else and I'd have no way to even ask anyone what's been posted because I don't know them personally, just through facebook chat. You're looking at the bigger picture and missing the details where individual experiences differ. Yeah maybe if we all stopped it would be awesome because it isn't essential in its base to any of us, but you can't convince anyone to just stop using it because you want to pull yourself away from it.

First, buy things you need. Then, the stuff you really like. Ignore the stuff that’s barely cool, unless very cheap. Things that don’t require much money, learning new cooking recipes, exercise, new language etc. don’t buy an expensive cook book when starting out, or an entire home gym (unless you want to force yourself to do the activity)

I asked for a two inch trim once and got 8 inches cut off. I have never cried about anything relating to my physical appearance until that moment. I genuinely felt like I’d been assaulted.
