Reply to LPT Request: Lots and lots of movies and series to enjoy, but I am left feeling unfulfilled and sad after a weekend, how do I convince my mind to stop craving for more and more by instant-sherlock
Limit your time spent to about 2 hours per weekend. I find the longer I immerse myself in hyper-exciting, engrossing fictional universes for too long, it harder it is for my mind to adjust to reality after.

Are you getting out enough? Even a regular walk around the block helps the mind. Do you have any nature near you? Animals or mountains or the sea? All that will improve your mental state. S/w development doesn’t need to be hell, there are awesome companies out there, can you change your company or contract?

sounds like the (binge) watching is an escape from your job. i could say take up new hobbies etc etc, but the issue is monday and your job, its always going to be there no matter what you do on a weekend. you nailed it in the first sentence, current job = depression.
i worked tech support for a few months in the past, i felt the same, it was killing me. i dreaded mondays because it meant another week, work life balance was awful. made the hard decision and took a 50% pay cut and went to a low stress sales/retail job.
everyone’s circumstances are different im aware, dropping the job is likely not a possibility, but if you havent already you need to see someone about the depression.
take care.

Agree. I also have learned to just kind of ignore certain people on the 1st... Never really saw the appeal of trying to lie to and trick people for amusement. Just comes off as petty

The title implicates that the user will shut down right after cancelling the restart.

Or keep going to the barber/stylist who got it right and become a regular.
I’ve had the same stylist for 8 years and just sit in the chair have a wonderful conversation pay and leave.

The first year my husband and I moved into our home, April Fools was Easter Sunday. We have no children so all the Easter eggs were hidden for him to find. It took a while for him to see the one I shoved into the peanut butter jar.
This year everything gets googly eyes. EVERYTHING

You are not sweating enough. In summer times my Pixel 6 has this problem all the time. My OnePlus 5T though had some Kind of detection.
I can't find any similar setting on my Pixel.

The fake baby thing seems like a pretty good red flag.

Thank you very much. Now I just need to remember this. (And have poops this smoothly every time; I know- TMI.
My dad has traumatized me ever since I've learned of Elvis's ending as a child.)

It is a sound, logical idea, is just that… I don’t know what people are thinking.

Another one for the “they still mess it up”,… the last time even the barber had the same haircut as my photo, didn’t matter, screw it up and I have to get this haircut fixed (long hairs left in the back of the trimmed neck).
