LPT: There's no reason to be afraid of MSG. Ya'll should go to your Asian market and pick up a bag. You use it like salt, but I suggest only using 1/3 of the amount of MSG to salt ratio when adding to a dish. You don't want to taste the MSG, you just want it in the background to enhance the dish.

LPT: If you're "cutting the cord" tell them you're moving to a new state the company doesn't serve. Otherwise you'll have to deal with an hour of switching between departments (sales people) before they'll allow you to disconnect.

LPT: Single people at work are often expected to pick up the slack (with no extra remuneration) when their colleagues set good limits because they have families. It's OK to have a life and have boundaries with your job to spend time doing things other than being with kids or a partner.

[LPT] If you speak to someone who is wearing a motorcycle helmet and they don't respond or acknowledge you, don't take it as an insult. All motorcycle helmet are at least partially noise-canceling, and some are EXTREMELY noise-canceling. A lot of us even wear earplugs inside our helmets as well.
