Not that far down. It’s closer to Tsongas than the towers. I’ll see if I can snap a couple pics next time I cruise the riverwalk.

So more behind River Place Towers, the 10-story apartment building or closer to where the Western Canal enters the river?

If you’re walking behind Tsongas, it’s in the water/trees on the end near the picnic tables. Thanks!

Wasn't aware of such an item. Sorry. Will investigate next time I'm down that way. Where specifically?

Let us know what’s in the pickup truck bed liner/cargo-box on the Tsongas side!

Id say most crimes are desperate acts.

LPD press release states it occurred on Porter Street, which appears to run perpendicular between Nesmith and High Streets.

Does anyone know the location of where this happened?
I've explored parts of Lowell on foot for two decades. My only complaint is aggressive dogs on leashes with inattentive owners who get caught off guard when their dog freaks out. The overwhelming safety issue is getting run over by vehicles so I'm very selective about where I cross streets. I'm selective about when and where I walk.

Like we have deaths of despair from suicide and drug overdose, I suspect that these attacks against post office employees are crimes of desperation.

WTF is wrong with people?! My mail carrier is the most chill person, just getting their job done.
Who attacks a postal worker??
Edit: It was my mail carrier! He should be back to work soon, maybe next week.
Give your mail carrier some love, they are probably all stressed out

I kind of agree with you? My point with mentioning GoFundMe as stated was to say don't do that. It seems like people set one up every time something happens and it just doesn't make any sense in the case of a business that's still open. If you like the business just support the business in the normal way: buy stuff.
Anyway, moot point: I guess someone approached the family with that idea and they said don't.
Also I can totally relate to not wanting to support a former employer.

They keep the cows that are in that barn with a chain around their neck chained to a metal pole on the ground
Only their “organic cows” are allowed to go outside and walk around
So the ones that died were literally chained to the ground

FYI, Nor'easters are called that because of the direction the wind is blowing from. Not because of their geographical location.

Okay, so you're saying "storm's coming, all humans out."? I'm still inclined to give these guys the benefit of a doubt, but I can see that as a realistic thing that might happen somewhere.

>By allowing these storms to do their worst while all people are at home
means that only property will be damaged - which includes the livestock.

It's a family owned and operated business. I'm going to give them the benefit of a doubt and suggest that they probably weren't intentionally risking the lives of their own family members.
