Heat pump, heat pump water heater, TWO chest freezers, and dehumidifier???

All that stuff could easily use 1400 kWh/ month. Frankly, I am surprised it's not higher. Dehumidifiers use a lot of energy.

My usage on a less than 1000 square feet house is around 400/month but I have no heat pump, freezers or dehumidifier and we only do one load of laundry a week. BTW, dehumidifiers use a lot of energy.

Furthermore, the blame for high kWh prices should be directed at the supply company, not CMP. Standard offer supply comes from New Brunswick Power and NextEra Energy. They just jacked up the supply rate by about 40 percent. Blame them.

Turn onto S Freeport Rd from Route 1 where Yarmouth meets Freeport. Use the side roads to make it to Pleasant Hill Rd and ride that all the way to Brunswick. Once you're in Brunswick, there are a few ways to get over to Harpswell Rd and then you can take that all the way to the end of the islands.

Oh man, that was always my favorite position to play. Sadly, I don't see kids playing hockey on ponds or town ice rinks (if still there) anymore. It's nice to just catch a kid or two, maybe a family just having fun on some small amount of ice these days. Winter can be just as fun as summer if you take advantage of it.

I remember that from UNH dining. I am originally from away and that is the only place I have had it. Sure it didn't hold a candle to the recipes here, but even the college dining services version was pretty good

Route 88 from Falmouth to Yarmouth is scenic and historic and not too far from you

You could also just keep driving up Route 1. Some of it isn’t that interesting but it hugs the coast and goes through a lot of old towns, and the places where you can see the water are always lovey

I personally love Route 17 towards Rangeley, with a stop at Height of Land, but that’s quite a haul from where you are, and I don’t know what road conditions are like up there currently

There’s also the Kangamagus Highway in NH that is lovely, although again, be alert for winter road conditions
