I sell the harnesses through Etsy. The bags and plate carriers are word of mouth through Twitter and insta. There’s a large market for the specialty bags.

Edit: I also make covers for equipment. Tractors, RVs, etc. Theres a solid market for it.

Install a sense device in your panel. https://sense.com/

This will give you very detailed data on kWh usage down to the minute. It will also be able to detect things that are using a lot of power. Start there to reduce your bill… shut things off if you can.

Secondly this device will give you enough data to know if TOU plans will save you meaningful amounts of money and it will give you the data you need to provide to a solar company. CMP rates for the various plans are all published online. Make a spreadsheet of your own and calculate the bill or use the effciency maine website calculator once you know your kWh usage and the time of day you are using power. If you have a heat pump you also can get a special rate, you might want a second sense or another device to monitor only your heat pump circuit as they are variable and hard for the sense to pick up when it’s monitoring your main supply only.

Concur on using your own router if the included one isn’t working well. There are lots of good options if you don’t need the Attune feature set. The router world is super tough - with all the chipset shortages and manufacturing challenges, everyone in telecom and IT is trying to roll with change.

(I am an employee of Consolidated Communications, but do not directly work in the Fidium part of the company and speak for myself based on personal knowledge. Also, u/s13drfthvn did some testing with his own router and the performance convinced me.)

Because California was short of potatoes, due to the drought conditions at the time. So in terms of climate change, they are also going to have to look at growing crops that don't require huge amounts of irrigation. Buying Maine potatoes isn't going to sustain them in the long run. Almonds also require a ton of water, and I believe they are a big deal out there. It's not just a local issue, potatoes.
