Last time I tried to buy clams they wanted like $40 for a small plate of them. At that price I'll dig em up myself thanks.

Look into it there's a community garden in your town or a nearby one. You can usually rent a plot pretty cheap and learn from other gardeners or just network with other people who have the same interests by showing up to volunteer days or similar.

The BDN basically reprints every single one of Susan Collins press releases verbatim and is where all the right-wing nutcases go to get their fact-free opinion pieces published.
They have decent local coverage but that's overshadowed by their willingness to do damage control for psychopaths.

Don't tell anybody, but early spring through June is the best time to get clams in Mass. That's when they start digging them. Out of season clams usually come out of a can from Maryland.

The Bath Y is horribly small for the amount people who try to cram in there. They desperately need to overhaul it like Boothbay. If I didn’t have a free membership I’d stop going in a heartbeat.
